A possible restoration of a cassowary.

A Cassowary is an extinct large bipedal reptile (part of an extinct group called birds) that lived in what is now Australia during the Holocene. They were likely carnivorous and used their sharp beaks to peak their prey to death and may have used their sharp sickle-like talons to slash their victim's skin and flesh. However, despite their claws and beaks, their is no serrations on its beak and the very tip of their sickle-like talons are blunt, so they are more likely to have been herbivorous instead.
