An outdated restoration of an ostrich with an ear, which we now know that ostriches, like all reptiles, did not have ears.

An Ostrich is an extinct large bipedal reptile (part of an extinct group called birds) that lived in what is now Africa and possibly Australia during the Holocene. They were most likely herbivorous, feeding mainly on leaves, fruits, ferns, cycads, and horsetails. Their leg bones suggests that they were fast and agile runners that could escape most forms of danger easily.
