Once a young Cautus girl from Rim Billiton under the care of Babel whose past and background remains a mystery to this day, Amiya is the successor of Theresa, the previous Sarkaz King of Kazdel who died near the end of the most recent civil war in Kazdel in the year 1094. She inherited Theresa's miraculous power, including the ability to tap into and manipulate the emotion of others, though much of them are sealed by the ten rings she wore. For unknown reasons, she is also classified as a Chimera. As a result of the inheritance of the King's powers, Amiya's manifestation of Arts is different from other Arts users, noted by its dark/red color and a "crown" that sometimes can be seen above her head when she utilizes it.
Currently, Amiya acts as the figurehead of Babel's successor, Rhodes Island. Because of her status as the Sarkaz King or other sensitive matters, much of her information in the R.I. database is classified, even to the recently awakened Doctor. Nevertheless, Amiya is a capable leader despite her young age (around 14 years old at the time). She is now working together with the Doctor and Kal'tsit to face problems in R.I.'s way, including the ever-persistent Oripathy and persecutions towards the Infected that lead to R.I.'s conflict with Reunion.
Meanwhile, Amiya is prophesized be the next "Lord of Fiends," the legendary Sarkaz King in a Kazdelian prophecy who will bring destruction to all of Terra; at one point, a different voice that is implied to be Theresa's can be heard echoing for a short time as Amiya speaks to Kal'tsit, which indicates that Theresa might live on within Amiya's consciousness due to the Lord's ability to inherit the memories of their predecessors. Indeed, Amiya is known to have invoked such power in several dire circumstances. Will Amiya live up to the prophecy as a destroyer of this cruel world? Or will she become a Messiah who pacifies Terra? Only time will tell.
Along with the Doctor, Amiya is the protagonist of the Main Theme. She also appears in various events and Operator Records.
