Blue Eyes was an evolved chimpanzee, he was the eldest son of the late Caesar and the late Cornelia, the older brother of Cornelius and the crown prince of the Ape Colony. As Caesar's eldest son, Blue Eyes was the heir to his father's ape colony. Through Caesar, Blue Eyes was the adoptive great-grandson of the late Charles Rodman, the adoptive grandson of Will Rodmanand Caroline Aranha, as well as the biological grandson of late chimpanzees Bright Eyes and Alpha. As Caesar's son, he was a member of the Ape Councilas well as a soldier of the Ape Army. Upon the rediscovery of humans, Blue Eyes becomes the ape counterpart of Alexander. During Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Blue Eyes served as the secondary ape protagonist.
