Chubutophis was an extinct genus of ancient serpents, this huge Eocene snake that came to be as large as the Titanoboa average between 12 and 15 meters, its fossils were found in Argentina by Albino in 1993, being one more representative of the boidos family. As a giant snake, Chubutophis must have been the super predator of its environment hunting a great variety of prey that went from notoungulados to crocodiles that with these last also competed by the same reasons, to which it lurked from the tributaries of the rivers and lakes. The bone was represented as a juvenile specimen to this Albino discovery that: "Given that this material is a young specimen, its size is extraordinary and it is estimated that adults would have reached greater dimensions than the largest known snakes of the Present time as the Madtsoia and the Gigantophis, and it was deduced that young specimens reached 5 to 7 meters in length while adults were estimated to have reached lengths of 10 to 12 meters".
