Hank "Duck" Holliday is a member of the Magnificent Seven.
Biography[]
Holliday is originally from Back East, where he worked as a dentist. After contracting a chronic lung disease, he, along with other flock, migrated to Cool Ranch in hopes that its dry climate would help his condition. However, it would cost him his practice, as he found little demand for a dentist among ducks and chickens.
Duck later met Wyatt Chirp in a saloon while in the middle of a fight, helping the lawman by tripping a Bronco desperado just as the horse was taking aim at Chirp. In an expression of gratitude, Wyatt Chirp deputized Holliday, and a career as a lawman also proved to be beneficial to his health. He would later be one of the founding members of The Magnificent Seven.
Following the vague causes of Chirp's death, Seven member Billy the Kid was quick to blame Duck for the circumstances, and their feud contributed to the Seven's disbanding. After the fallout, Duck resided in Tumbleweed, leading a quiet life until the day The Pirate, accompanied by Timmy, invited him to get the gang back together to stop the Bronco Bunch's tyranny in Tumbleweed from taking over.
