Prior to The Spacebots:[]
When his friend Matthew's birthday party is put on hiatus due to the arrival of his new baby sister, Eddie convinces him to make a huge mess to get back at his parents for neglecting him. The Care Bears arrive and offer to throw Matthew a party themselves, but Eddie eventually convinces him to wreck the house by driving through it in a small battery-powered car.
After destroying his sister's room, Matthew becomes remorseful for his actions, and demands that Eddie help him clean up before his parents get home. Though he disagrees at first, his attitude changes once the bears hit him with a Care Bear Stare, after which he promptly apologizes. Using another Stare to fix the mess, the house becomes clean just before his parent's arrive with the newest member of the family, Lisa. To make up for missing his birthday, they also throw Matthew a surprise party with all his friends.
