The Tunes except Plucky ran inside and sat on the table filling their bowls with soup. They all put their bowls on the table and began to eat. Everyone slurping the soup noisily. Calamity was the first to have a smile on his face. And then Calamity began to sing, everyone still eating and slurping while he did that.
Calamity (singing): With a spoon and a bowl
With the music in your soul
You can cheer things up with the zub, zub, zub
Of the music in your soup
With a gulp
With a grin, hahah
Get a wiggle on your chin
You can make things hum with a zum, zum, zum
Of the music in your soup
And then tunes sang along and kept slurping. Little Beeper drank his entire bowl in one gulp.
Tunes (singing): Swing that spoon
Gotta keep on dippin'
Slurp, slurp, slurp, slurp, slurp
Scoop up that soup
Gotta keep on sippin'
Slurp, slurp, slurp, slurp, slurp
Till the bowl is dry
And your face is drippin
Then they all clinked their bowls to each other, filled them again and continued with eating.
Let her rip!
Let her roar!
To the first and the second
And the third encore
Meanwhile, Buster used some bread to dip in the soup and shoot it right in his mouth. Hamton used two spoons to eat more soup while Calamity was just eating normally in his way. Little Beeper used his tongue to lick the soup like a dog and even panted like one. And then he licked his face off. Suddenly, Plucky went inside looking like his normal self. He still wasn't happy about what happened a few moments ago. He smelled the soup too and his bill began to water already. He looked around to see if no one saw him and slowly crawled towards his chair. When he reached the table, he kept sniffing at the food. Then he sat on his chair and saw the soup. Plucky raised an eyebrow. He looked at the soup, took his spoon and went into the bowl. He sniffed at it and then he tasted it. Then his eyes went wide and quickly grabbed the bowl closer. He ate the soup and slurped very loudly.
Elizabeth: Please. Please!
Then she grabbed a spoon and clinked it against her bowl. When the tunes heard the clinking, they stopped immediately. All, except one. Plucky was still slurping very loud until Dizzy made him stop. He gave him a few nudges and Plucky was about to hit him. But Dizzy showed him why he did it and Plucky already knew the answer.
Elizabeth: Where did you learn to eat soup that way?
Furrball: Oh, guess it just come natural.
Calamity Hah. Anybody can do it.
Furrball: With practice.
Elizabeth: Hahahah. Yes, but you don't understand. (she sat down) This is the way gentlemen eat soup.
Tunes: Gentlemen?
Elizabeth: Yes. Now watch. Spoon in the hand, bending the wrist, into the bowl and out with a twist.
Tunes: Spoon in the hand, bending the wrist, into the bowl and out with a twist.
Elizabeth: Fine! That's perfect!
Tunes: Perfect?!
They're doing exactly how Elizabeth showed them, but they slurped again while doing it. Elizabeth was about to gasp, but then she shook her head with a smile. In his enthusiasm, Little Beeper slurped so powerful that his spoon was coming closer to his beak. When doing it again, the spoon suddenly went into his beak. When he was about to take another sip, he noticed that his spoon was not in his wing. He looked at his wing and then in his sleeve. He was very confused right now. Then he looked at his bowl of soup and thought it might be in there. So he tried to search inside the soup until suddenly he started to hiccup again, making bubbles come out of his beak and something metallic clinked. He hiccuped again and, as a result, he accidentally pushed the bowl away. He rubbed his belly and heard the same metallic sound again. He realized that his spoon was in his belly. Beeper tried to get everyone's attention by pointing inside his mouth in panic, and then he hiccuped again. The tunes and Elizabeth noticed that.
Calamity: Wha-wha-wha...What's the matter with Beeper?
Furrball: He swallowed his spoon.
Little Beeper kept on hiccuping, making him jump in the air. He tried to hold on tight to his chair, but it didn't work. Both him and the chair jumped in the air while he hiccuped. He kept doing the same thing.
Buster: Hey, get him!
Calamity: I got him!
Calamity tried to grab Little Beeper but failed. The other tunes ran over him to catch Beeper. They grabbed the chair, but it went in the air again. They brought it down, but then Little Beeper went in the air again. Buster caught him. Hamton and Dizzy helped her.
Buster: There. Now, we got him.
But another hiccup send both Little Beeper, Hamton and Dizzy in the air and then they fell back on the floor. Calamity was standing on a chair.
Calamity: Open his beak. I'll get it.
Hamton opened Beeper's beak very wide while Calamity stood ready with his arm.
Calamity: Say 'Ah'.
Little Beeper: Aaaaaaaaah!
Beeper hiccuped again causing to release a bubble that contained the spoon.
Plucky: There it is.
Dizzy: Grab it!
Calamity: I got it!
But when Calamity tried to grab it, the bubble popped and the spoon fell back in Beeper's stomach.
Buster: No, no. That'll never work. Turn him upside down. Snake it...shake it out!
Hamton and Plucky held Beeper upside down while trying to shake the spoon out, but it didn't work. Then Plucky tried by slapping on Little Beeper's behind.
Calamity: Here. Ah'll get it. Bend him over!
Plucky, Hamton and Dizzy bended Little Beeper over while Calamity pulled the underside of his tail on the back.
Calamity: That's it. There. (took a few steps backwards) Ready?
Tunes: Ready!
Calamity: Clear the way!
Calamity raised his arms in the air and then she ran very fast towards Beeper. Then he got close enough, he quickly turned around and gave Beeper a hard foot in his behind causing both the spoon and the piece of soap to come out of his beak. They all stared at it with a smile. Even Plucky pointed at it with a smile. Elizabeth ducked and the soap and the spoon both clung against the wall.
Tunes: Hooray!
