Faris is a young Muslim who appears as a recurring character in Omar and Hana.

Muhammad Faris Daniel bin Mohd Faiz is one of Omar and Hana's friends.

Background

Personality

Faris is a rational son, friend, and student. Though he does not acknowledges the existence of magic, he prefers to solve problems through scientific means. He has good intentions and wants to have as much fun as possible.

The events of "Begin with Bismillah", however, have left Faris knowledgeable after his friend taught him to say Bismillah before doing anything.

In "Dad's Magical Dish", he seems to have hurt Nuru's feelings, even starting a to ignore her and pay attention to Indra's lunch instead. However, at the end of the episode, he admits that the bunny chow is like magic.

Physical Appearance

At six years of age (in the series), Faris is a stout child with almond skin, shaggy brown hair with no highlights and no teal streaks, no freckles, consistent looking teeth, and chestnut-coloured eyes. He wears a purple shirt with a green collar sewn on to it, black pants, no apron, no gloves, green shoes, and no goggles.

In "It Doesn't Hurt Anymore", he donned an at-home outfit, consisting of his regular outfit with purple socks.

Powers and Abilities

Faris possesses no magical abilities. However, he displays a wide range of skill and talents, beyond what is normally expected from a normal boy.

Role in the Series

"Allah's Angels"

In his appearance in "Allah's Angels", Ms. Laila enlists Ustaz Musa's help in preparing the iftar party of that day. At first, he was seen of as laughing happily with his friends. But Ms. Laila got his attention and explained the plan to the class and Ustaz Musa. After Ms Laila explains this, he joins Omar, Sufi, and Indra to help Ustaz Musa, running to the store room with them, and willingly does the action of helping Ms. Laila and the rest of the team with setting up the iftar party. However, he fails to know that the store room is messy and will cause the group to spend more time looking for deco, resulting in the whole group needing to clean up the store room, at the same time looking for items on the list, given to them by Ms. Laila.

• Faris's hair (specifically his bangs) is drawn in a way that hardly covers his eyebrows, regardless of head and camera angles.
