Dingodile is a genetically enhanced hybrid of a dingo and a crocodile, having a crocodile's body and tail, and characteristics of a dingo with an Australian accent. He makes his first appearance in Crash Bandicoot: Warped, after which he makes regular appearances in the series, with his latest appearance being Crash Bandicoot: On the Run!.
He is one of Dr. Cortex's henchmen, and in turn works for Uka Uka. In his debut, Crash Bandicoot: Warped, he appears as a boss who is trying to stop Crash from collecting all the crystals. He reappears in Crash Team Racing, he appears as a playable character in the Adventure Mode, and is allied with Uka Uka. In Crash Bash, Dingodile switches to Aku Aku's side to split up the teams evenly. In Crash Nitro Kart, Dingodile is brainwashed by N. Trance into racing for his team, indirectly working with Emperor Velo. He eventually becomes a neutral character in Crash 4: It's About Time, who occasionally assists the good side.
Dingodile is often equipped with a flamethrower, which is fueled by a large gas tank worn on his back. It is generally assumed that Dingodile was created by Neo Cortex, but Dingodile has been known to work independently, or even against Cortex from time to time.
