The Penguin and Me

The Penguin and Me is a 2013 animated film that is created by Shigeru Miyamoto. The film was distributed by Paramount Pictures, premiered on June 5, 2013, at the BFI Southbank in London, England, and was released on YouTube on June 21, 2013, in Japan and the United States.

It features the animation style of Batman: The Animated Series and was compared to The Ugly Duckling and Me. This was based on Penguin and Me by Angela Muss. In the Japanese version, the film's protagonists were dubbed by Tōru Furuya, Kazumi Totaka, Noriko Hidaka, Yuriko Yamamoto, and Yū Mizushima (the same Japanese voice actors as Super Mario Bros.).

Synopsis[]

A construction worker Cassius convinces everyone that he is the adoptive father of the penguin Nori. Cassius and the world's strongest penguin set off on a hazardous journey with treacherous enemies, teenage problems, and unexpected fatherly feelings awaiting them ahead.
