Princess Cadence

Princess Cadance, full name Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, is a major character in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. She is an alicorn pony who is first featured in the season two finale "A Canterlot Wedding - Part 1" alongside Shining Armor, her husband (after the season 2 finale). Her debut episode gives her proper title as Princess Mi Amore Cadenza. She is Twilight Sparkle's foal-sitter in Twilight's flashback, and she becomes her sister-in-law after marrying Shining Armor in A Canterlot Wedding - Part 2. She is the crystal princess and also she also revealed she's pregnant in one of the newer episodes and Pinkie had to keep it a secret. It is revealed that she was born as a Pegasus in the book.

Cadance becomes Flurry Heart's mother after she gives birth to her daughter.

She was voiced by Britt McKillip, who also voiced Princess Harumi from Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, Hannah Marie from Scary Godmother: Halloween Spooktacular, Baby Lola from Baby Looney Tunes, Sabrina Spellman from Sabrina's Secret Life, Peppermint Girl in Barbie in the Nutcracker, Princess Melody in Barbie as Rapunzel, Princess Janessa in Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses, and Princess Rita in Barbie as The Island Princess. In the Japanese dub from the series, she was voiced by Ayahi Takagaki.

Appearance[]

Cadence is light pink in body color. Her eyes are a vibrant light purple. Her hair is stripped in colors of pale yellow, bright pink, and purple. Her cutie mark is a sky-blue crystal heart with golden laces. She wears a golden crown with purple jewels, a golden necklace, and golden hoof-guards.

Personality[]

Cadance is depicted as kind, caring, helpful, and natural as a leader. She has a long history and friendship with Twilight Sparkle from when they were young, as seen in a flashback in A Canterlot Wedding - Part 1. She can be extraordinarily persistent, for in spite of her growing weakness, she attempts to protect the Crystal Empire with her magic until she reaches her physical limit. Cadance is also depicted as adventurous and somewhat laid-back in Three's A Crowd.

What Makes Cadance Pure Good?[]

As Twilight's foal-sitter, she made Twilight believe she was not a regular pony.
Fixed the relationship of a couple who was arguing with her magic.
She protected the Crystal Empire.
She often helped her family and friends to do pretty good for its deeds.
She healed Shining Armor with her power of love to restore his ability to create a protective shield.
She forgave Twilight when Twilight thought that she was Chrysalis.
She defeated Queen Chrysalis alongside Shining Armor.
She was willing to sacrifice herself in order to protect Crystal Empire with her magic until she reaches to her physical limit.
She saved Spike from King Sombra.
She was willing to help heal Discord's sickness (although it is later revealed that he was faking it) despite him abusing his situation.
She saved Twilight from a plant monster.
She helped fix Ponnyville when it was messed up by Rarity along with Twilight and Princess Luna.
Allowed Spike to light up the fireworks at the Equestria Games as a way of thanking him for saving the Crystal Empire.
She comforted Twilight from doubting her role as the Princess of Friendship by singing a song alongside Celestia and Luna.
Transfering her magic to Twilight for safekeeping alongside Celestia and Luna.
Making a statue for the Grand Equestria Pony Summit by using a gemstone from every state of Equestria.
She tried to warn Spike that he shouldn't abuse his power to get what he wanted, and when his mistakes caused trouble in Canterlot, she helped convince Spike to apologize to the summit delegants alongside Twilight.
She helped Pinkie Pie in her mission to go to Yankyakistan.
Was able to help Twilight feel better after her disappointing experiences in "Once Upon A Zeppelin."
She (along with the rest of the people) helped Twilight and her friends defeat Tirek, Chrysalis and Cozy Glow.
Unlike the other princesses, she has no corrupting factors.

Alicorn Physiology: Being a Alicorn, Princess Cadance can fly and use magic.

    - Telekinesis: Like all Alicorns, Cadance's horn glow when moving a object by using her magic.
    - Force-Fields: Cadance can form force-fields (large or small) to protect her or other ponies.
    - Magical Beam Emission: Cadance can shoot concussion beams from her horn.
    - Crystal Generation: Candace was able to create crystals to cover and fix the broken water pipe.
- Flight: Like all Alicorns, Cadance can use her wings to fly the same way as Pegasus.
