Ruby Rose destroying the Mona Pizza restaurant in Mona Pizza scene from Episode 1 of this film is a reference to Godzilla's rampage from Godzilla (1954).

As the scream extractor scene got replaced with the Immolation execution. Young Simba, Pascal, Young Tod, Nigel, LeFou, and Ruby Rose are tied up to a stake in rope (Chains for Ruby Rose) while being burned to death by Junko Enoshimas a reference to The Burning of the Versailles Witch (Celestia Ludenberg's execution) from Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc.

Yui (Sword Art Online) was originally going to play Boo/Mary, but because of the upcoming film of Kung Fu Tigger (CoolDudeJay), she got replaced with Ruby Rose (RWBY and RWBY: Ice Queendom).

Sometime after Frog-A-Doodle, Jack Skellington got sent to Crimea as a punishment for some unknown reason (Probably he got sent there because he blamed Kermit for not crowing and bringing back the sun during Thumper's ambush), but he did befriend the Crimea girls and calls this place home as a result despite being sent there.
