The Amoeba Boys are a gang of Amoeba who were the villains featured in Whoopass Stew alongside The Gangreen Gang (making both of them the oldest recurring villains in the series).

- In Powerpuff Girls Z, there is a female amoeba named Violet who replaces Slim, despite the group being called "The Amoeba Boys", which is played to comedic effect many times in the series.
- The Amoeba Boys are not always teal in color with aqua spots and a matching membrane around them. In the episode called "Gesundfight", they sleep on the grass on a rainy night and they turn whitish with teal spots and membranes signifying invertedness.
- In the episode called "Birthday Bash", the Amoeba Boys who were in jail ironically send the Powerpuff Girls a nice harmless birthday gift (only due to not knowing how voodoo dolls work).
- The Amoeba Boys are the second least recurring villains, appearing in only 13 episodes (only behind Sedusa, with only 10 episodes).
- It should be noted that while the Amoeba Boys were intended to be lame villains, they ironically made more appearances than Sedusa because Craig McCracken had a hard time coming up with episodes where Sedusa was the main villain.

- See Me, Feel Me, Gnomey is the only episode where the Amoeba Boys are seen without their hats.
- Their appearances in the Stephen Squirrelsky and Friends' Movie Spoof Travels are Animated Tale (TheTure DisneyKing's Style) where they, Kark, Dyke, Mojo, The Twin Snoaties, Him, Fuzzy Lumpkins, Madam Mim, The Queen of Hearts, and Slappy the Dummy attempt to catch Stephen and his friends, but can't succeed, then in Isabellan where they, Fuzzy, Sedusa, The Evil Thieves, Bowser Koopa, Bowser Jr., Dr. Eggman, Jackal, Fang, Bradley Booger, and Mecha Sonic attempt to catch Stephen and his friends, fail again, and will hopefully get them in more spoof traveling.
