Toad is a supporting character from the Mario franchise. He is a humanoid mushroom and Princess Peach's attendant and longtime protector of the Mushroom Kingdom. Toad is a singular character among an entire race with the same name, which leads to some confusion of his appearances. He would often aid Mario and Luigi on their adventures.
