Rosemary Hills 5: Operation - Rescue Milly is a 2019 American animated adventure fantasy musical film based on the animated television series Rosemary Hills. The film was released in theaters on August 1, 2019.

When Milly is stolen by a mad scientist, Wonder-Milly and her friends (John, Tevin, George, Mina, Leo, Leah, The Care Bears (Tenderheart, Cheer, Funshine, Grumpy, Bedtime, Good Luck, Love-a-Lot, Friend, Share and Champ), The Cousins (Brave Heart Lion, Lotsa Heart Elephant, Swift Heart Rabbit, Bright Heart Raccoon, Treat Heart Pig and Cozy Heart Penguin), Wendy, Jeff, Linda, Melanie, Paula, Becky, Sandra, Ken, Jim, Susie, Joey, Elaine, Jill, Sibella, Phantasma, Elsa, Tanis, Winnie, Jenny Wakeman, Ami and Yumi) set out on a rescue mission to save Milly before she becomes a museum hero property with her super league gang Vocalisa, Goldmace, and Speedfeet.

The film begins with scenes of Wonder Milly on an adventure, which ends with her being destroyed by the Commander Cyberzap, but it turns out to be a video game Tevin has been playing. He is upset about losing at the game. Monica is preparing for a tea party with Milly.

The next morning, after having a nightmare of Valora kissing Milly on her lips, she finds Vincent, and begins to fear he'll soon be thrown away. When Vincent is set out for a yard sale, Milly manages to rescue him, but ends up in the yard sale herself. She is seen by Dr. Lousysmarts, an obsessive, greedy scientist and proprietor of Dr. Lousysmarts' Workshop. He tries to take Milly from Kady, but she refuses to take her. After failing to negotiate a take, Dr. Lousysmarts creates a distraction and takes Milly, prompting Wonder Milly to take action. She flies down into the yard sale and sees Lousysmarts getting into his car after packing Milly in the trunk. Wonder Milly manages to get to the car as Lousysmarts is driving away, but by the time she opens the trunk, Wonder Milly loses her grip from the car and Lousysmarts escapes.

However, a clue is presented to Wonder Milly as the car speeds away: a feather from Lousysmarts' trunk lands in front of her. Wonder Milly informs the bad news to her friends, who try to investigate the culprit. However, Wonder Milly is trying to type the license plate number that she briefly saw on Lousysmarts' car to track it and whoever he was, and the rest of her friends, including Pond Hoppers, were having problems doing an identity portrait of Dr. Lousysmarts. When George gets fed up with Wonder Milly trying to investigate the number with the spell machine and irritably tells the others to "leave Wonder Milly to get the figure," the word "figure" causes Wonder Milly to decipher what the license plate said: "Dr. Lousysmarts' Workshop" and consequently order Pond Hoppers to draw the man in the parrot suit. They later had to try and locate Dr. Lousysmarts' Workshop commercial to trace a map to the shop. Wonder Milly then heads out to Dr. Lousysmarts' Workshop with John, Tevin, George, Mina, Leo, Leah, The Care Bears (Tenderheart, Cheer, Funshine, Grumpy, Bedtime, Good Luck, Love-a-Lot, Friend, Share and Champ), The Cousins (Brave Heart Lion, Lotsa Heart Elephant, Swift Heart Rabbit, Bright Heart Raccoon, Treat Heart Pig and Cozy Heart Penguin), Wendy, Jeff, Linda, Melanie, Paula, Becky, Sandra, Ken, Jim, Susie, Joey, Elaine, Jill, Sibella, Phantasma, Elsa, Tanis, Winnie, Jenny Wakeman, Ami and Yumi to rescue Milly.

Meanwhile, Milly is taken to Lousysmarts' apartment, where she is greeted by a singing super heroine named Vocalisa, an affectionate dragon named Speedfeet, and Goldmace, an armored warrior with his mace. They reveal to Milly that she is a vintage Bolt-Milly collectible figure and the star of a forgotten TV show, Milly's Super League. Along the way, Milly discovers that her show has been cancelled due to the launch of COSMIC and children finding more interest in space than the Super Hero. Now that Lousysmarts has Milly, she has a complete collection and intends to sell the figures to a museum in New Mexico. Milly refuses to go to New Mexico. Later, Lousysmarts arrives and sprays Milly's inked hair completely by accident, making Milly attempt to clean her hair and then return to Rosemary-Land which he fails. Lousysmarts then gets a hair cleaner who fixes Milly's hair. After that, a suddenly depressed Vocalisa tearfully tells Milly of how she once had an owner that loved her, but eventually outgrew and abandoned Vocalisa. Goldmace warns Milly that faces the same fate. Milly agrees to go with the "Super League Gang" to the museum, now believing that all eventually get discarded by their owners.

At the same moment, Wonder Milly and her friends search for Dr. Lousysmarts at Dr. Lousysmarts' Workshop. After Wonder Milly orders her friends to split and look for Lousysmarts. She discovers an aisle full of superheroes and gets in a scuffle with a cloned Wonder Milly, who, like her, does not realize she is a heroine. Wonder Milly ends up being locked in a cryo tube who then sets off with the other friends for Lousysmarts' apartment, genuinely believing that she is attempting to rescue a hostage from her arch-enemy, Commander Cyberzap.

Wonder Milly frees herself and follows them to the apartment, but while exiting the store, she accidentally frees Commander Cyberzap, who follows to destroy her. When the friends reach the apartment, Milly tells them she does not want to be rescue and intends to go with her new friends to New Mexico. After Wonder Milly arrives, in an ironic reversal of a scene from the episode, she reminds Milly "You're Milly's friend. You're a true hero!" Milly (figuratively and literally) turns her back on Wonder Milly, telling her that she intends to go to museum with her Super League gang and that Wonder Milly has wasted her time coming over to the rescue. Disappointed that they came a long way for nothing, Wonder Milly's group leaves without Milly, but not before Wonder Milly says a rather upset farewell to Milly, warned her that she will spend the rest of her life watching people through a glass window and never be loved again, and leaves her to contemplate her decision.

However, Milly soon has a change of heart, realizing that Wonder Milly is right, and, after calling Wonder Milly and the group back, invites the "Super League Gang" to come home to Rosemary-Land with her. Vocalisa and Speedfeet agree, but Goldmace locks them into the room, desperately wanting to go to the museum, since he was never sold, he will not have Milly to destroy her. Lousysmarts returns and packs the Super League Gang, and the rest of the friends give chase but are interrupted by the sudden appearance of the Commander Cyberzap. The second Wonder Milly battles him, and in a showdown mimicking a similar scene from The Empire Strikes Back, Commander Cyberzapy reveals himself to be Wonder Milly's father, shortly before his defeat at Tevin's hands. The other friends resume the rescue mission and find an unattended vehicle and drive it to the airport, along with the Talking Stars. The second Wonder Milly remains behind with Cyberzap, playing father and daughter games and the first Wonder Milly bids farewell.

After arriving at the airport, Wonder Milly and the group manage to free Milly and Speedfeet from the trunk. The Goldmace has other plans, though, and he grabs Milly by the neck. However, Wonder Milly and her group come to Milly's rescue, and stick the Goldmace in a girl's box so he can "learn the true meaning of playtime". The Goldmace is terrified to learn that the little girl likes to draw on all of her toys. Milly then concludes, "Hasta la vista, Goldmace." Vocalisa, however, finds herself in trouble and remains trapped in the trunk. Milly, John and Wonder Milly ride Speedfeet in order to rescue her from being taken to the museum on her own.

Milly manages to find Vocalisa inside the plane, but just when they're about to escape, the door closes and the plane heads for the runway. Milly finds another way out of the plane, though a small hatch which leads down to the landing gear wheel, and as they are doing so, she slips on tar, but Vocalisa catches her. When the plane is on the main runway, Milly knows that time is running out. In true "Milly's Super League" style, she uses her rope from her pocket to swing her and Vocalisa down to safety on Speedfeet's back - just seconds before the plane takes off. Milly asks John to marry her, in which he accepts. Their mission accomplished, the friends now make their way home.

Just then, Monica returns home. Seeing Vocalisa and Speedfeet, she decides to add them to Milly's new friends. However, Wonder Milly becomes a bit smitten with Vocalisa. Milly's ink-sprayed hair is cleaned by Monica herself. The vents of the airplane's cargo hold have a terrible (and hilarious) consequence for Dr. Lousysmarts. After Bright Heart fails at the Wonder Milly video game, he flips through the channels and sees Dr. Lousysmarts in Dr. Lousysmarts' Workshop commercial, crying since he lost the Super League gang and the money he was going to get for the delivery, which is why in the commercial he is selling everything for as Lousysmarts says in the parrot suit, "For a Squawk, Squawk, Squawk". While Lousysmarts is crying over his loss of money, Bright Heart says a somewhat humorous remark about Dr. Lousysmarts and his scheme ("Well, I guess crime doesn't pay."). Jenny and the Kids joins the Talking Stars, much to rejoiced Ami and Yumi, while healthy Vincent sings a Lou Bega-style version of "I Am your Bestest Friend" as Wonder Milly asks Milly if she is still worried about her. Milly replies that she isn't worried about her discarding her anymore and that when it is all over, she will have Wonder Milly to keep her company, for "flight and victory".
