Fred is a supporting character who appeared in the 3rd episode of DiC's Care Bears TV series, "Braces". He is friends with a boy named Joey who recently got braces and is self-conscious about them. Though Fred continues to support him, Joey remains depressed thanks to the actions of a bully named Tommy.
