The Parody Wiki
  • Narrator: It was quarter of dawn. All the Whos still a-bed, All the Whos still a-snooze, when she packed up her sled, Packed it up with their presents, their ribbons, their wrappings, Their snoof and their fuzzles, their tringlers and trappings! (Catwoman yells at Hissy, who obeys and starts running toward the top of the mountain) Ten thousand feet up, up the side of Mount Crumpet, She rode with her load to the tiptop to dump it!
  • Catwoman: Pooh-pooh to the Whos!
  • Narrator: She was cattly humming.
  • Catwoman: They're finding out now that no Christmas is coming! They're just waking up! I know just what they'll do! Their mouths will hang open a minute or two ,Then the Whos down in Whoville will all cry boo-hoo! That's a noise,
  • Narrator: Grinned Catwoman.
  • Catwoman: that I simply must hear!
  • Narrator: She paused, and Catwoman put a hand to her ear. And she did hear a sound rising over the snow. (Catwoman hears something as the people gather round and sing around a sunlight) It started in low, then it started to grow.
  • Chorus: Fahoo forays, dahoo dorays. Welcome Christmas! Come this way.Fahoo forays, dahoo dorays. Welcome Christmas, Christmas Day! Welcome, welcome, fahoo ramus, Welcome, welcome, dahoo damus, Christmas Day is in our grasp, So long as we have hands to clasp.
  • Narrator: But this sound wasn't sad! Why, this sound sounded glad! (Catwoman looks confused, then worried) Every Who down in Whoville, the tall and the small, Was singing without any presents at all! (the sun rises to the top and reaches the top) She hadn't stopped Christmas from coming! It came! Somehow or other, it came just the same! And Catwoman, with her catty feet ice-cold in the snow, Stood puzzling and puzzling.
  • Catwoman: How could it be so? It came without ribbons! It came without tags! It came without packages, boxes, or bags!
  • Narrator: She puzzled and puzzed till her puzzler was sore. Then Catwoman thought of something she hadn't before. (Catwoman gets sad, then happier)
  • Catwoman: Maybe Christmas
  • Narrator: she thought
  • Catwoman: Doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more!
