Huib Broos

Huibrecht Hendrik Alfons (Huib) Broos (August 29, 1941 - September 11, 2011) was a Dutch actor. Huib Broos did in 1963 graduated at the Amsterdam drama school and debuted then immediately Timid at the court of the Molina at the Dutch Comedie. He then played in ensembles such as the New Rotterdam Theater and Studio. Besides Gees Linnebank, Martine Crefcoeur and Cocki Boonstra garnered him both on stage and in the film version, much success in The Family, the theater serial from writer / director / violist Lodewijk de Boer. From the beginning of his career was Broos also frequently seen on television and in films and also worked as a voice actor. His last television role he played in the television series about Annie MG Schmidt where he is mentioned incidentally in the credits Huib Roos. Broos died at the age of 70 after a brief illness of liver cancer and was buried in Zorgvlied in Amsterdam.
