Inspector Jamal is a character in The Chipmunk Adventure. He is immediately assumed to be a villain since the first thing he does is send his two rough-looking henchmen to capture The Chipmunks and The Chipettes. However, he turns out to be on their side by working to bust an illegal international diamond smuggling ring ran by Klaus and Claudia Furschtein. With the help of an inside man named Mario posing as Claudia's butler, Jamal is fed information about where The Chipmunks and The Chipettes would be delivering the diamonds. Jamal succeeds in taking Klaus and Claudia into custody with the help of The Chipmunks, The Chipettes, Dave, and Miss Miller.
