Transcript[]

  • Narrator: Thus, as time went by, the chateau fell into disrepair, for the family fortunes were squandered... upon the vain and selfish stepsisters, while Betty was abused, humiliated, and finally forced to become a servant in her own house. And yet, through it all, Betty remained ever gentle and kind, for with each dawn she found, new hope that someday... her dreams of happiness would come true. (the morning is shown at a house where Betty is asleep as Edvard Grieg's Morning music plays as the birds and the animals wake her up)
  • Person 1: Good morning, Betty!
  • Person 2: Rise and shine, Betty.
  • Animal 1: Wake up, Betty.
  • Animal 2: You're dreaming. (Atomic Betty yawns)
  • Atomic Betty: Ah... What a day I've had! (laughs) That was the most funniest dream I've ever had. Well, it's time to start work. But first, I need to get washed up and dressed. You guys better be careful what you wish for, or else your wishes might come true. (changes out of her pyjamas into her swimsuit and swimcap with goggles and sings 'Carwash by Rose Royce' while awakening and showering and swimming in the water. When she dries herself off, Atomic Betty gets into her clothes and hears a bell ringing) Oh, stupid clock. I always hear it ringing. It even rings and wakes us up. It's far too early to get up the clock does not be quiet! Oh, how I love my life, which is happy and healthy that I'm a girl of beauty. Okay. Now it's time to get time to get to my duties. (sets off to work as she makes her bed. She suddenly stops and hears the sound of a passing train thundering by and sighs) Oof! That must be the sound of a confounding railroad of trains. If everyone buys and moves them, they will keep it where it resides.
