Murphy (The Spacebots)

Murphy is a character of the television show, Care Bears (DiC series). He appears in the 1991 film, The Spacebots' Great Adventure.

Prior to The Spacebots:

While on a forest excursion during summer camp, Murphy becomes bunkmates with a substantially more bookish and intellectual boy named Sanford. The two are joined on their trip by Bedtime Bear, Love-a-Lot Bear, Funshine Bear, Birthday Bear, Share Bear, and Friend Bear, who want the two to "get the most" out of their time together despite their differences. After a night of scary stories, the two are assigned a project where they must gather materials to build a totem pole that symbolizes something about them. While looking for items to build with, they stumble upon a cave they believe contains a monster, and hastily make their way back to camp. While working on their personal totems, Murphy accidentally breaks Sanford's bird egg, causing him to storm off in anger. The two make up thanks to some counseling by the bears, and also discover that the "monster" they thought they heard earlier was just an owl.
