Patricia Jiménez (better known by her nickname Paty) is a minor character in the original series and, since the third season, one of the main characters in the animated version. She is the pretty girl from the neighborhood and El Chavo is very much in love with her, but Chilindrina and Popis (the latter in the animated version) are jealous of her, since they also love El Chavo. She lives with her aunt Gloria, who has educated her very well; that is the reason why Paty is a very good girl.

At the beginning, Paty only appeared in two chapters (1972, 1975 and 1978), when she moved with her aunt Gloria to the apartment on the neighboring stairs; Chavo and Quico/Ñoño, upon seeing her, instantly fell in love with her, which makes Chilindrina and Popis envy. But after her appearance in 1978, Paty became a regular character in the series, attending school with the other children and interacting with them in the neighborhood.
In the animated version, she debuts in the episode "Love Came to the Neighborhood", having the same demeanor as her original counterpart. Paty appearance in the original series is not defined, but it is always clear that she is the prettiest girl in the neighborhood; he usually has dark hair, which he ties into two ponytails or a single one. He always carries his teddy bear with him.
In the animated El Chavo, she is a very nice girl who has red hair with a yellow headband, green eyes, and wears blue and red overalls, with yellowish socks and brown shoes. Starting in the second season, she wears a green dress, white socks with gray shoes, and a straw hat, adorned with two flowers on each side. However, the previous costume reappeared as a "swimsuit" in the episode The Pirates of that same season, as well as appearing erroneously in other later episodes.
