The Serengeti Thomson's gazelle (Eudorcas thomsonii nasalis) is very distinguishable because it has a whiter face with more conspicuous markings. The horns of females are shorter than those of males can be found in Northern Tanzania, from southern and eastern shores of the Victoria-Nyanza, Kilimanjaro and Mt Meru and Kenya (from Naivasha) as far as the southwestern slope of the Lorogi Mountains and eastward to the eastern edge of the highland region as far as Makindu Station and Mt. Kenya.
