(Just as Clover and Lola leave Hiccup alone to cry, Heka and Messina emerge from the shadows, having observed the whole thing and ready to make their move. They walk up to him.)
- Heka: Poor child. Poor sweet child. He has a very serious problem.
- Messina: If only there was something we could do. But there is something.
(Hiccup stops crying and looks up at the two snakes.)
- Hiccup: Who... who are you?
- Heka: Don’t be scared. We represent someone who can help you.
- Messina: Someone who can make all your dreams come true.
(The two snakes twist their tails together.)
- Both: Just imagine. You and your princess. Together forever.
(Hiccup is confused.)
- Hiccup: I don’t understand.
- Messina: Jafar has great powers.
- Aladdin: (gasps) The Sorcerer? Why that’s... I.. I couldn’t possibly— No! Get out of here! Leave me alone!
- Heka: Suit yourself.
- Messina: It was only a suggestion.
(They start to leave and Messina kicks the face of the statue of Astrid right into Hiccup’s lap. He picks up the face and looks at it for a while. Then he calls to the snakes.)
- Hiccup: Wait!
- Heka & Messina: Yes?
(Meanwhile, Clover and Lola are also sad, obviously thinking about what happened with Hiccup and Valka.)
- Lola: Poor Hiccup.
- Clover: I didn’t mean to tell. It was an accident!
(Clover looks up and sees Hiccup swimming with Heka & Messina. She swims up to him.)
- Clover: Hiccup, where are going? Hiccup what are you doing with this riff raff?
- Hiccup: (sternly) I’m going to see Jafar.
(Clover gasps in horror and grabs him by the tail fin to stop him from going.)
- Clover: Hiccup, no! No! He’s a demon! He’s a monster!
(But it’s no use. Hiccup shakes her off and looks at her angrily.)
- Hiccup: Why don’t you go tell my mother? You’re good at that!
(He then continues following the snakes. Clover and Lola just stand there looking shocked.)
- Clover: But I—- I—- (she turns to Lola) Come on.
(She and Lola start following Hiccup worrying for his safety.)
