The Penguin and Me (in 100-minute release) is a 2004 Japanese-Finnish animated supernatural action-comedy film was directed by Justin Lin and based on the 2012 children's book of the same name by Angela Muss. It was released in Japan on December 18, 2004, in Finland on April 20, 2005, in Chinatown, New York on February 4, 2006, and in the United States on March 8, 2006, and it was distributed by Paramount Pictures. And it was released on VHS and DVD on April 7, 2006, including the bonus episodes, Learning to Golf, Surfer, and Princess Meet the Dog and Beach Games. The film will be streamed by Paramount Plus during its new premiere in Finland on April 9, 2019, and then re-released in the UK on DVD and Blu-ray on April 22, 2019, which will reprint on February 9, 2014, as their full-length film.

The film stars the voices of Adam Sandler, David Spade, Rob Schneider, Rosario Dawson, Andrew Sabiston, Christopher Sieber, Debra Wilson, and Tom Arnold. It is the animated film to be animated overseas by the Japanese animation studio Mook Animation. It retells the children's book Penguin and Me as a police investigation, using backstories to show new video game characters' points of view leave their normal in-game roles, and socialize in a power strip. And it wasn't entitled The Penguin Insuperable and The Penguin on the Run. And it marks the first time voice actor and radio-personality Scott Innes voiced Didgeridoo, needed time for his voice work on four Scooby-Doo direct-to-video films, and the second time Irish voice actor Morgan C. Jones voiced Shang.

Production and release

The Penguin and Me was produced as a collaborative, but segmented effort; video game producer Shigeru Miyamoto split the film into different scenes of varying length, and each scene was recreated by a contributor. The film was edited to premiere on YouTube to a live audience on April 9, 2019, which uploaded to the YouTube channel Breno Silveira and has since remained on the site.

Didgeridoo and the Shaman's Ghost

Didgeridoo and the Shaman's Ghost (in 87-minute release) is the parody of Scooby-Doo and the Witch's Ghost which is a 2006 Japanese-Finnish animated supernatural action-comedy film that was released on YouTube in Japan on February 4, 2006, in Finland on March 8, 2006, and in North America on April 24, 2006. It was produced by Hasbro and Mattel and distributed by Paramount Pictures. The film's contributors include the voice actors, such as Martin Short as the voice of the horror writer Bennington "Benny" Bancroft, Jim Belushi as the voice of the Mayor, Samuel L. Jackson as the voice of Mr. McWright, Paige O'Hara as the voice of Thornton (sounds like Belle), Whoopi Goldberg as the voice of Benny's ancestral named Shirley Bancroft, and Sammo Hung as the voice of Dr. Grant.

The plot involves Formula Two traveling to Vancouver town called Blue Hills after being invited by horror writer Bennington "Benny" Bancroft. Like a number of Paramount animated films released in the early-2000s, The Shaman's Ghost features real supernatural elements instead of the traditionally fabricated ones the franchise is associated with, giving the film a recorded tone. The film has been adapted into a book. It is the film to be animated overseas by the Japanese animation studio Mook Animation. It marks the first time voice actor and radio-personality Scott Innes provides both voices of Didgeridoo and Shang, who needed time for his voice works on four Scooby-Doo direct-to-video films.

Trivia

  • Bennington "Benny" Bancroft's appearance is based on the famous horror writer Stephen King and as well as H.P Lovecraft.
  • Shirley Bancroft's real actual evil appearance and actual evil temperament are actually based on the actual real iconic classic Disney evil villain, Yzma.
  • Shirley Bancroft's real evil face design has the actual exact same face design as Catwoman and Harley Quinn from Batman: The Animated Series (1992-1995), and as well as the exact same iconic classic evil face design as Yzma from the Disney's 2000 film, The Emperor's New Groove.
