Plot[]

Tigger is an anti-social and highly-territorial bouncing tiger who loves the solitude of his Outlands. His life is interrupted after the sorcerer Lord Randall of Duloc exiles a countless number of fairytale creatures to Tigger's Outlands. Angered by the intrusion, he decides to pay Randall a visit and demand they be moved elsewhere. He reluctantly allows the talkative SpongeBob, who was exiled as well, to tag along and guide him to Duloc.

Meanwhile, Randall tortures Mantis for the location of fairytale creatures still in hiding. His guards interrupt and present him with Snow White's Merlin. Upon asking the Merlin if his kingdom is the perfect of them all, Randall is told he is not even a king and must marry a princess to become one. He decides to pursue Princess Kimberly Ann Hart, who is locked in a castle tower guarded by a Cynder. Unwilling to perform the task himself, he organizes a tournament in which the winner receives the "privilege" of rescuing Kimberly. Meanwhile, Tigger and SpongeBob arrive during the tournament and easily defeat a swarm of Randall's knights. Randall proclaims them champions and demands that they rescue Kimberly. Tigger negotiates to have the fairytale creatures relocated if he succeeds, and Randall accepts.

Tigger and SpongeBob travel to the castle and are attacked by Cynder, who corners SpongeBob. In desperation, he sweet-talks her, and she starts to fall in love with him. Meanwhile, Tigger locates Kimberly, who is appalled at his lack of romanticism and the fact he had not slain Cynder. They flee the castle after rescuing SpongeBob, but when Tigger reveals that he is a tiger, Kimberly refuses to go to Duloc unless Randall himself arrives, so Tigger simply carries her. That night after setting up camp, Kimberly goes off alone and Tigger explains to SpongeBob his frustration with being judged by his looks and that some hunters killed his parents. Kimberly overhears and decides to be kind to Tigger. The next day, they encounter a condescending Skipper and his band of Merry Penguins, and Kimberly dispatches them easily with martial arts when they attack. Tigger is impressed with Kimberly, and they begin to fall in love.

When the trio nears Duloc, Anna takes shelter in a windmill for the evening. SpongeBob hears strange noises from within and investigates, discovering that Kimberly has transformed into a tiger. She explains she has been cursed since childhood, forced to transform every night after sunset and changing back at sunrise. She tells SpongeBob only "true love's kiss" will break the spell and change her to "love's true form". Meanwhile, Tigger is about to confess his feelings to Kimberly, when he overhears the conversation as she is calling herself an "ugly beast". Believing that Anna was talking about him, Tigger angrily leaves and returns the next morning with Randall. Confused and hurt by Tigger's abrupt hostility toward her, Kimberly accepts Randall's marriage proposal and requests they be married before nightfall. Tigger abandons SpongeBob and returns to his now-vacated Outlands.

Angered, SpongeBob arrives at the swamp and confronts a still upset Tigger. During their quarrel, SpongeBob explains that the "ugly beast" Kimberly was referring to was someone else, and the two reconcile. SpongeBob urges Tigger to express his feelings for Kimberly before she marries, and the two quickly travel to Duloc by riding Cynder, whom SpongeBob is now in a relationship with.

Tigger interrupts the wedding just before the ceremony completes and tells Kimberly that Randall is only marrying her to become king. The sun sets as Kimberly transforms into a tiger in front of everyone, causing a surprised Tigger to understand what he overheard. Outraged, Randall orders Tigger executed and Tigress (Kimberly) detained. Guided by SpongeBob, Cynder bursts in and devours Randall alive, much to the delight of the people of Duloc. Tigger and Kimberly profess their love and share a kiss. Tigress assumes "love's true form" as the curse predicted, and remains a tiger permanently. No longer believing she is beautiful, Tigress is consoled by Tigger, who tells her she always has been. They get married in the Outlands surrounded by other fairytale creatures, and leave on their honeymoon.
