The Uganda black rhinoceros (Diceros bicornis ladoensis) has a former distribution from South Sudan, across Uganda into western Kenya and southwesternmost Ethiopia. Ugandan black rhinos are considered rare in Uganda manley due to the human population in Uganda, and because of there habitat destruction, and the species likes dense forest/savvanah. Like all Black Rhinos, Ugandan black rhinos like to live in dense forest and savvanah Through out Uganda and Kenya Estimates say there are about 300 black rhinos in Uganda left. While the white rhino is confined to a few isolated areas on the west bank of the Albert Nile, West Nile and Madi districts. The total population of white rhinos in Uganda is around 80-100, of which the largest concentration is near Inde, West Nile district
